From the Clubhouse:
Our food manager David Boucher and our bar manager Kate Evans have done an excellent job cleaning and redecorating our clubhouse. The clubhouse never looked better. The food is outstanding and the menu is very extensive. If you haven't eaten there this year then you are really missing a treat. The clubhouse is open Monday thru Saturday 11 to 8 and Sunday 12 to 5.

From the Pro Shop:
Our golf manager Bruce Lortie has provided us with an outstanding selection of golf equipment and apparel. Members receive a 10% discount on selected items. Members also receive a discount on use of the driving range. One dollar off a large bucket and $.50 off a small bucket. A season pass is available for members at $125.00.

Consider playing at one of the several course that WGC has a reciprocal agreement such as the Elms and Pines where you only pay for a cart. The list is posted in the pro shop and the web site.

Golf Course:
Golf Digest rates our course as "Best Places to Play." The fairways and tees have recently been treated for weeds and also fertilized. One refers to this as "weed and feed." New trees have been planted behind #5 green and also on #14 - right side of the fairway. New trees will be planted on #11 beside the green and behind the green green later on. Much damage occurred over the winter and Ken Hicks and his staff did a great job removing the dead and damaged trees, especially the large willow on #11 that was struck by lightning. Bunkers have been edged and restored with our new sand rake. The driving range has been improved for drainage with a new flow meter and repaired pumps at a cost of $1300.00.

Events:
President Cup begins - Sign Up. Club Championship, 6-Man Team, !0-Man Team for men June 20th and June 21st. Frank Sanderson had a hole in one on #5, his fourth hole in one. CONGRATULATIONS!
